Let's Get Started

My Story: Called to Walk With Others

I originally started out wanting to be a teacher, but a psychology course sparked something in me. I realized that counseling was where I was meant to be—helping people uncover the root of their struggles, develop practical tools, and experience real change.

What keeps me in this work is twofold:

  1. Seeing the transformation people can make and the life-changing impact that healing has.

  2. Experiencing the way God works in people’s lives, even through the symptoms and struggles that initially brought them to therapy.

I also felt a calling to be a different kind of therapist. Many people have been hurt or left feeling stuck by previous experiences in therapy, and I wanted to meet people in their need, walk with them through it, and help them reach the other side of what God has for their life.

My Approach to Therapy

I believe healing requires both practical tools and deeper exploration. That’s why my sessions are educational, goal-oriented, and tailored to your journey.

Comfortably Uncomfortable
I often describe therapy as “comfortably uncomfortable.” Sessions should challenge you to grow and explore, but they shouldn’t leave you feeling too overwhelmed to return. We focus on meaningful work while keeping a balance between vulnerability and hope.

Your Growth Is the Goal

  • You’ll learn tools to manage everyday stress, anxiety, and grief.

  • We dive deep into your past to understand how your experiences shaped your current challenges.

  • Together, we work to step away from unhelpful patterns and reclaim your identity in Christ

My style is direct, warm, and compassionate. I ask open-ended questions, provide guidance, and challenge you when needed, always with your growth and goals in mind.

Who I Work With

I help adults who are ready to:

  • Navigate anxiety, or work through past trauma

  • Explore the root causes of emotional and relational struggles

  • Develop practical tools to manage everyday stress and life’s transitions

  • Grow personally or spiritually in a safe and supportive environment

Outside the Office

Life outside therapy keeps me grounded and curious. I enjoy spending time with our two dogs and three chickens, all of whom we adore. I love to run, exercise, and take walks around the community. I have really come to enjoy reading over the past few years, though I admit, at the moment most of them yet to be finished. I’m also an avid coffee lover and enjoy discovering new coffee shops around town; the iced coffee all year round kind of gal!

Let’s Take the Next Step Together

If you’re ready to begin your journey toward emotional and spiritual freedom, I’d be honored to walk with you. Therapy can be transformative, and together we’ll focus on practical tools, deep healing, and your unique path forward.
