Counseling Services & Rates in Virginia
At Breakthrough Mental Health Counseling, I provide virtual individual counseling for adults across Virginia who are navigating anxiety. My practice focuses on Christian counseling for anxiety and individual counseling support for first responders and their spouses.
Counseling is a collaborative process tailored to your experiences, needs, and goals. Together, we can work to better understand the patterns contributing to what you're experiencing, develop practical tools for managing difficult thoughts and emotions, and make changes that support your well-being. If your Christian faith is important to you, it can also be part of the counseling process in ways that align with your values and goals.

Therapeutic Approaches
I draw from evidence-based approaches and tailor their use to your needs. Depending on your goals, counseling may include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Explore connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and practice healthier ways of responding to anxiety.
EMDR: Work through distressing experiences that continue to affect your emotional well-being.
Christian faith integration: Explore how your beliefs, relationship with God, and spiritual experiences relate to your mental health goals, when you want faith to be part of the work.
